Gujarat Police Recruitment 2024 : The Gujarat Police has released a short notice for the Recruitment of Police Constable and Sub-Inspectors. As per the Gujarat Police Vacancy Notice, 12472 vacancies will be filled in the department. The department has also released a final Notice with all necessary details.
The recruitment will be done for positions like General Duty Police Constable, SRPF Constable, Jail Warder, Police Sub-Inspectors and others. Aspirants are advised to wait for the final notice.
Gujarat Police Bharti Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Constable: A candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of education.
- Sub-Inspector: A candidate applying for the Guj Police vacancy must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a Recognized University.
Age Limit
- Constable: The age limit is set between 18 to 33 years.
- Sub Inspector: Candidates should be between 20 to 33 years old. The official notification will specify the cut-off date for determining the age limit.

Age Limit
- Candidates applying for the Constable position must be between 18 to 33 years of age, whereas for Sub-Inspector posts the upper age limit remains the same but they should be a minimum of 20 years old.
- In the case of Other Backward Classe candidates, the age limit will be relaxed by three years, and five years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates.
