Ayushman Bharat Scheme was started by the Central Government in the year 2018 for the poor people. Under which free health insurance up to ₹ 5,00,000 is being provided to the citizens. Citizens availing benefits under the scheme are given the benefit of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh every year. How to make Ayushman card through mobile: If you want to apply online for making Ayushman card through your mobile phone, then you can apply by following the steps given below –
- To apply for Ayushman Card Online, first of all you have to go to the official website of the scheme.
- After this , click on the tab of “ Beneficiary Login ” given in the website .
- After this, a new page will open in front of you, enter your mobile number which is linked to Aadhar card and verify the OTP.
- After this you will see the option of E-KYC, click on it and complete the authentication process.
- After doing this, the next page will open, select the member whose Ayushman card is to be made.
- Here you will again find the e-KYC icon, click on it and for live photo, click on the computer photo icon and upload the selfie.
- Then you will get the option of additional option, click on it and enter all the information asked in the application form correctly.
- Finally, click on the submit button and submit the application form.
- If everything is found correct, the Ayushman card will be approved within 24 hours. Which you can also download in your mobile phone.
Eligibility Criteria for Ayushman Card
To avail benefits from Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri-Jan Arogya Yojana, the following eligibility is followed-
- Candidates belong to Below Poverty Line (BPL) category or have low level of income.
- The annual income of the candidates should be less than Rs 2.4 lakh.
- Eligibility is primarily based on the Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) database.
- The family of the candidate above 16 years of age does not have any income.
- Candidates must belong to SC or ST category.
- The candidate who does not have permanent residence.
